Below are updated health and safety protocols for the school effective October 4th 2022.
• Face mask is optional for all teachers, students, and parents entering the building.
• A student or faculty who has tested Positive with COVID-require 5 days self-quarantine AND symptom free.
• PROHIBIT access of school visitors and parents. All parents must drop & pickup students from the parking lot, in the rear of building. Parents with a student 7 years of age or younger may enter the school to drop and pick up their students ONLY. Parents may not stay and wait inside the building, including on the hallway during the lesson. All students must wait inside the school to be escorted safely out to the parking lot with one of our staff members after their lesson.
• Strict policy on illness exclusion, including staying home if the student exhibiting any symptoms such as cough, sneezing, fever and chills, headache, sore throat, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea or difficulty breathing. NJMS asks students to stay at home until symptom free.
